The Little Directory publishes local phone directories in several regions of central Oklahoma. They have worked hard to set themselves apart from the "bigger" books. Local businesses get a very focused market for their advertising, and residents get listings and information that is relevant to them.
NegativeArticles and AffirmativeArticles are experiments in blogging. Published as frequently as humanly possible, the two sites offer very different perspectives on world news. The sites are edited by a couple of interesting "characters" who provide both information and humor on a daily basis.
The Yukon, Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce is an integral part of their community. They coordinate a variety of events and provide services to businesses, residents, and visitors in Yukon. The Chamber's web site is built around a content management system (CMS) that provides a variety of functions including a member directory and a calendar of events. Everything on the site can be modified by Chamber employees. We also provide graphic design services to the Chamber on a regular basis.
Maple Street Day Spa provides an extensive menu of spa services. Their site reflects the tranquility they offer customers.
Valve Tech Laboratory presented a unique challenge — take an existing Access database and make its reports available for their customers online. We set up a database synchronization system that allows Valve Tech to continue using their Access database and have the web site data updated on a regular basis. Valve Tech customers can view a variety of reports on the services they receive.
Essential Bodyworks & Health Spa offers a variety of relaxing and rejuvenating services. Their site includes a content management system (CMS) that allows them to easily make changes to the site whenever they want.
News Goat is the personal and semi-professional blog of Smart Goat co-founder Billy Mabray. The design of the site is intended to invoke a feeling of classic literature in a high-tech world.
The Art of Nancy Park presents portraits and other paintings by the artist. Nancy does commissioned portraits, and this site allows potential customers to see her talent.
Central Oklahoma Mensa is a database-driven web community where group members can exchange news, comments, and calendar events. The site has won multiple awards in American Mensa's Electronic Publications Recognition Program.
Intelligent Art Forms is a showcase for the talents of Oklahoma artist Charles Williams. Visitors can browse through his collection of scientific abstractism paintings and drawings. They can also purchase prints through his CafePress shops.
The Chocolate Lizard is a home decor company specializing in children's rooms. They wanted their customers to be able to visualize different fabric combinations and come up with their own bedding sets. Smart Goat built a custom Flash "Build-A-Bedding" application that gives customers a fun and interactive experience, increasing the number of return visitors and customers. Plus, the application integrates with the style and shopping cart functionality of their existing site.
Crafty Goat is a small e-commerce site with over 100 products. It uses PayPal's shopping cart, an easy and inexpensive option for small businesses wanting to accept credit card payments online. It was built using osCommerce, an open-source e-commerce system, which allowed us to add many custom features.
